Welcome to Shipping Out, our weekly notice of all them games that ship from publishers to retailers in preparation for their street date a day later. In many cases, these games won't be on store shelves until tomorrow, but in the interest of getting the word out, letting the PR departments have their fancy quotes and saving us sanity as the weekly releases pile up, we're going to be consolidating everything down into one handy little news story at the end of the day, along with this description. Neat, eh? And lazy!

PlayStation 3:
DC Universe Online - It’s all about superheroes and tight spandex this week. The latest MMORPG from Sony Online Entertainment (the creators of the hugely popular Everquest series) has you creating a superhero persona in the world of DC comics, including Gotham City and Metropolis! Create either a superhero of villian and help defend or take over the world in this action combat oriented MMORPG. Heads up to those who have friends getting on board with this game too; decide ahead of time on what platform you wish to play on as PS3 and PC players do not get to play together.

PSN:
Faery: Legends of Avalon - This RPG/Adventure game has you playing as a Faery or Elf. From the press release "The game offers a solid gaming experience for the players, between 10 to 15 hours to complete the main quest, and much more thanks to many additional, side-quests." Players will learn about the world which the game is set in and the story will focus around some sort of evil which you need to stop. Not a lot of details are given, spoilers and all that! The game does look interesting though!

Faery: Legends of Avalon is available on PSN for $14.99

PSP:
Prinny 2: Dawn of Operation Panties, Dood! - Everyone loves Prinnies! It’s just when they blow up right by you, then they’re not so good. This is the sequel to the PSP action game where you play as one of the most well known characters of the Disgaea series.

That's it for this week.
