Castlevania Lords of Shadow launched with favorable reviews and fans of the series enjoyed it a lot. We here at TotalPlayStation also enjoyed the game and gave it a solid 8/10 with our biggest complaint being the storyline and how two dimensional the characters were. Konami seems to have listened and today in a press release has given details on their two upcoming DLC releases which will expand upon the Lords of Shadow game world and characters, including adding more back story to Gabriel and showing us what happens after the game ended.

The first DLC Reverie will have players returning to the Castle section fo the game to help the character Laura, who you met in the original story but only for a very brief amount of time. This story has you destroying an "unruly evil" that has started to become a threat due to your previous actions.

The second DLC titled Resurrection continues where the story left off and gives the player a more complete look and aftermath of their actions after they finished the game. This will also tie up some more loose ends and answer questions about Gabriel. Konami is promising that Resurrection will be large in scope than the first add-on and features a final showdown with a "very notorious enemy". While no specific date was given, these two exciting additions to Lords of Shadow will launch in early 2011.
