[PlayStation Store Update] August 2nd

Short and sweet, here are the deets on updates this week.

To help better outline some of the stuff that will hit the PlayStation Network and the PS Store for all you PS3 owners out there, we've decided to offer short 'n sweet summaries of all the content you'll see once the US store is updated. In the future, we'll try to expand it out to include other regions, but for now, here's what you'll see this week:

[Games]
Blast Factor: Advanced Research -- Bluepoint Games' update to their first (and for a while best) twin-stick shooter is a doozy; not only are the controls improved with better detection for the SIXAXIS waves, but the game runs smoother, looks better, and finally breaks away from the standard cell shapes and repetitive bosses to turn what was a solid shooter into a great one. We'll have the review soon.
Price: $4.99

[Demos]
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 -- So maybe GRAW2 is hitting the PS3 like a bazillion months after it did on the 360. Rainbow Six Vegas was a late comer and it turned out great. Now you can see if Ubisoft can make the (late) magic happen again (here's a hint: nuh uh).

The Darkness -- If you haven't yet read our review of the full game or just want to get a taste for yourself, you can finally grab the US version of the demo (it's been up overseas for a bit now). Fair warning: it's not really the best indicator of the kind of story and characters that make the full game so good, but at least you can goof around with the powers a little.

[Trailers]
Get Smart, Michael Clayton and The Game Plan
