Soulcalibur IV Hits 2 Million
Still pissed off about no playable Jar-Jar, that would have rocked so much ass.

According to a press release sent out by Namco Bandai, Soul Calibur IV has already shipped 2 million units worldwide. The game has been getting great reviews recently (with an 86 on Metacritic, meaning that it's already beaten the pants off of the Star Wars sequels), so this shouldn't be surprising, especially with the amount of hype that was going for it.
I suppose that the whole Star Wars thing might have given it some momentum. Star Wars fans are a very gullible species. I mean, they paid to see Episode One, and then kept going back until their half-assed attempt at saving face over the epic franchise-mucking that George Lucas did. The guy could probably write a five-part epic about Yoda opening a diner, and it would still make Matrix money. I'd order a sandwich, and he'd be too short to hear me and would repeat my order in that muppet-speak, and then I would get really angry and leave a really tiny tip. That wasn't good service at all.
