Though most attention is rightly being focused on Pandemic's awesome Mercinaries 2: World in Flames since it's hitting in just a few months, it's not Pandemic's only PS3 project. Not due until next year, Saboteur is finally putting a much-needed creative bent on the World War II setting by putting you in the shoes of a Irishman in Paris bent on a little personal revenge.
Though the game is open-ended (something Pandemic knows a little sum-sum about), the real draw here beyond a quasi-sandbox is in the presentation: Nazi-occupied parts of Paris are rendered in stifling, bland black-and-white, but as the city is slowly liberated -- by a variety of means detailed in our awesome preview -- color slowly seeps back into the world.
And now, finally, Pandemic has offers the first tease of the what the game will look like in motion. It's brief, and we can't emphasize enough that you should read the preview to see what the dev team is up to, but it is something to whet one's whistle. So scroll on up to the top of the page, click the Movies link and have a taste. Don't forget to check out the screens while you're at it!
We'll have more on the game soon, so check back often.
