After having tantalized an audience of games press with dramatic footage of a sweat-drenched Jin Kazama in high-definition glory, Namco Bandai is ready to prove it's not simply looking to simply tease gamers. It wants to blow your socks off. That's right, in the future, we play games barefoot!

The leading tag-team publisher/developer has made known its intentions to become a serious force in the future videogame market, announcing today its line-up of next generation titles to be showcased at E3 2006. As overseas confirmations and the aforementioned teaser types might have suggested (and we suppose our sneaky little screen update may also be to blame), the company will be extending two of its best known, "Triple-A" franchises, with Ridge Racer 7 and Tekken 6. To put it succinctly, it's fighting/racing to the next level!

“As a recently integrated company, Namco Bandai is excited to demonstrate our new publishing strength within the industry by unveiling our next generation line-up at E3 2006,” broke down Genichi Ito, President and CEO of Namco Bandai Games America Inc. “We are looking forward to supporting the next generation of consoles and being at the forefront of delivering quality content for all gamers to enjoy.”

So there you have it, guys and gals. In just over a week's time, we'll be seeing for ourselves just what Namco Bandai has been cooking up this whole time. Somethin' sure smells good!
