Mercs 2 Makes Members Merry
You've gotta be part of that community first, though.

A few weeks ago, we briefed you on a funky little contest the folks over at Pandemic had cooked up for Mercinaries 2: World in Flames (get it? Cooked up? World in Flames? You can't buy wit like that, friends). See, the idea was that truly skilled artists could create their own tattoo that the inked-out leading man, Mattias Nilsson, would actually wear in the game.
Well, that contest is over. Sorry if you missed out, but that's what you get for not reading the site every single day. We're quick like that, man; no time for the jibba-jabba, we need work. So, curious who's work will get worked into the digital skin of Mattias? Well no problem, it's-- heeeeey, nice try. See, Pandemic's only telling their closest friends, the ones that donate their e-mail addresses and contact info to the official Mercs 2 Community. Plus, we don't really know yet.
Community Members get more than just the contest results, though; they'll also get peeks behind the scenes, pointers toward notable threads on the official forums, a tour of Pandemic's swanky Los Angeles office, and Designer's Diaries highlighting some inside poop on Mercs 2;s nifty vehicles (there's boats and choppers and buggies n' stuff). It's no awesome E3 preview of the game or anything, but then that's what we're here for.
So go, man, go, witness the deliciousness of the next-gen sandbox game in all its glory, either on our Mercs 2 game page or the official game site. If you go with the latter, be sure to tell 'em we sent you, and that we love you very much. Just like Barney.
