The Ultimate Contest Gets Ultimate...er

Activision has just opened up another spot for fans to get their voice in the game.

Those cats at Activision are smart cookies. Seriously, what self-professed X-Men freak wouldn't want the chance to have their very own nerd voice powering the pipes of in-game characters in the upcoming 140 character Marvel smorgasbord that is Marvel: Ultimate Alliance? Normally, we'd say the chances of that happening are slim to none, but Activision seems surprisingly open to allowing someone with the proper voice to contribute.

Ohoo, but it's not over. Though they may have found their Bruce Banner (impressive given that the person voicing him will likely have to voice his Big Green Mean Machine, The Incredible Hulk, as well), the original contest was looking for The Hulk and Jean Grey (aka Phoenix, aka Dark Phoenix, aka dead girl). But wait, there's more! They've decided to allow one more set of pipes into the mess: those of the King of Atlantis himself, Namor! Nothing? Not ringing a bell? Sub-Mariner? Hahaaa! There we go.

There's really nothing more to say. Oh, except that the winners will all get Xbox360s (what, no PS3 love?) and a copy of the game (natch), a trip to sunny LA to lay down them thar lines, a poster signed by Stan Lee and a pack of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance playing cards. Also, you only have until July 23rd to get your submissions in, and if you're good enough like the person that was picked for Banner, you might just cinch the part right there.

Head on over to the official site to get the poop on what it takes to enter, and make sure that you give TotalPlayStation a plug at some point (it'll totally improve your odds!*). Good luck!

*It totally won't improve your odds.
