2K Sports might be ready to take over the baseball market with Major League Baseball 2K8, but nothing says it like a video game tour.

The third annual Major League Baseball 2K8 Video Game Tour is headed to 20 different markets and 40 different events on the east and west coasts. Six 2K Sports branded entertainment trucks, complete with video game stations of 2K Sports titles, will be stopping at 20 college campuses, select Best Buy parking lots, and Major League Baseball Spring Training baseball games on both the east and west simultaneously. Participants will receive a $5 coupon for Major League Baseball 2K8 redeemable at Best Buy and free game demos of 2K Sports games.

Gamers will get the chance to play any of the games on tap for free or compete in the Major League Baseball 2K8 Home Run Derby, where they can win prizes from 2K Sports and Major League Baseball. While gamers are indulging themselves, they'll be jamming along with Sirius Satellite Radio DJ and emcee Statik Selektah on the West Coast while East Coast fans will get to rock out with Boston-based celebrity DJ Eskillz.
