MLB Calls It: Rockies Win the World Series

Sony's baseball sim says it'll be a true World Series with Colorado taking it in seven.

The fortune telling powers of Sony's sports sims were once the stuff of legend. Their annual Game Before the Game competition managed to predict the outcome of the Super Bowl a whopping eight years in a row as players from both Super Bowl teams squared off in a game of NFL GameDay. Of course, GameDay is no more (fittingly, it would be the last of the PlayStation 2 versions that would fail to predict the outcome, snapping the streak as the franchise was retired), but Sony does have another sports franchise still going strong: MLB 07: The Show.

Sony's San Diego Studios have used the simulation powers of the game to try to get a leg up on the final outcome, and being that we know quite literally the least amount about baseball as is functionally possible, we'll just let them take it away. Go to it guys!

Were we betting men and a woman, we might actually throw some money on this one, but considering The Show doesn't quite have a lock on the outcome like GameDay did, not to mention the fact that we're all dirt poor, we'll just have to see how it all turns out. And now, we wait...
