[Shipping Out] The Week of May 26th to May 30th
Some enemy is storming the gates.
Published: May 30, 2008
Welcome to Shipping Out, our weekly notice of all them thar games that ship from publishers to retailers in preparation for their street date a day later. In many cases, these games won't be on store shelves until tomorrow, but in the interest of getting the word out, letting the PR departments have their fancy quotes and saving us sanity as the weekly releases pile up, we're going to be consolidating everything down into one handy little news story at the end of the day, along with this description. Neat, eh? And lazy!
[PlayStation 3]
[Enemy Territory: Quake Wars]
Earth's Global Defense Force is at war with the Strogg, the evil alien menace that has been fighting humanity since the dawn of time. Now the PAL regions can continue that fight in Enemy Territory: Quake Wars on May 30th. Team and mission-based multiplayer action pulls players into the battle for all humanity.
"Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars raises the bar for next-gen console games with its variety and intense combat," said Kevin Cloud, Executive Producer, id Software. “Whether you’re playing online with fifteen friends, or playing a single-player campaign against amazing AI, Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars delivers a new level of team play and combat strategy to the PS3 and 360.”
Publishers: Want to make sure we've got your games in our weekly Shipping Out blurbs? Just kick over those shipping press releases to Shipping Out and we'll make sure they get tossed into the rotation.
