[PlayStation Store Update] August 16th
And it's actually rather meaty, hooray!

To help better outline some of the stuff that will hit the PlayStation Network and the PS Store for all you PS3 owners out there, we've decided to offer short 'n sweet summaries of all the content you'll see once the US store is updated. In the future, we'll try to expand it out to include other regions, but for now, here's what you'll see this week:

DiRT -- Funkalicious off-road racing and one of the coolest menus (yes, menus) you will ever see in a game come together with Codemasters' signature brand of seeing stuff wreck all purdy like all running on the PS3-native Neon Engine. Is it better than the 360 version? Do we really freakin' care?
NCAA Football 08 -- Hooray, college football! Nobody in the office plays sports games anymore! We have no idea what it's about, but you can probably guess!

Heavenly Sword "Making Of" - Episode 2: Bringing Design to Life -- Chart the progress of some of Heavenly Sword's main characters as they go from concept sketch to in-game model and eventually into something you get to watch with all o' them fancy, purdy graphics (they are very purdy).
Heavenly Sword Anime - Episode 2 -- You know what's sexy about the Heavenly Sword? That you're not supposed to use it 'cause it freakin' kills you if you're not descended from the heavens -- or so the legend goes. Explore more of the backstory before you jump into the hacky/slashy goodness for yourself.

Folklore -- The "Tale of Two Strangers" trailer finally lets you take a peek into the two main characters that you'll be sharing your adventure across insanely imaginative worlds with. Learn more about Keats and Ellen, and their little Irish burg, Doolin, on their way to explore the Netherworld.
TimeShift -- Wanna see just how well Saber Interactive's time manipulation-heavy shooter is coming along? Why not get a little more info on the story? Why not download the trailer as soon as it gets posted on the Store, hmmmm?
