2K's Bounce Tour Gets Festive

The Holiday Edition of the marketing machine is coming.

If you aren't into sports, and more importantly sports video games, there's a good chance you haven't heard of 2K Sports' Bounce Tour -- or at the very least don't really give a crap about it. The roving mix of live music, gaming and sports icon appearances has been chugging along for a few years now, but 2K has decided to step it up a little and take to the road around the Holidays to drum up a little more interest and, they're hoping, more sales.

“The artists on the Holiday Edition of the 2K Sports Bounce Tour represent an important and positive force in the hip-hop community,” giggled Tim Rosa, 2K Sports’ Director of Brand and Lifestyle Marketing. “We are excited to have the Stones Throw artists supporting the 2K Sports brand while providing a unique entertainment experience for our collective fans.”

Stones Throw, for those that aren't down, are a record label representing (among others) label founder/producer/DJ Peanut Butter Wolf, MC Percee P, turntablist J Rocc, jazz-influenced Karriem Riggins, Cali-based Madlib and Guilty Simpson from Detroit, all of which are joining the month-long Tour to promote All-Pro Football 2K8 and College Hoops 2K8. If those names got you all hot and bothered in a decidedly hip-hop way, check out the list of stops on the tour right here:
