2K Sports Is Going On Tour
The All Pro tour, created to showcase All-Pro Football 2K8 will feature DJ Z-Trip and span several states -- but you'll have to put down your SIXAXIS to check it out.

When I think of video games, the first thing to come to mind is DJ Z-Trip, which is why I was thrilled to learn that 2K Sports is kicking off a new tour that they've cleverly named the All Pro tour to promote the newly-released All-Pro Football 2K8. Aceyalone and Gift of Gab will be accompanying Z-Trip for over 20 stops along with occasional guest appearances by Rakim and M-1 once the whole shebang begins on the 23rd.
But wait, there's more! Gamers and Z-Trip fans alike will be able to give All-Pro Football 2K8 a whirl in kiosks set up at the event when they aren't listening to remixes and mash-ups from the All Pro soundtrack, which will likely spread the word as the tour moves throughout California, Ohio, New York, and the rest of the country.
Tim Rosa, the Director of Brand and Lifestyle Marketing (not just regular marketing, mind you!) for 2K Sports had this to say: "It's rare when an artist can design an original soundtrack that integrates seamlessly into a video game and then transition that to a live setting. DJ Z-Trip has accomplished this feat, so we're excited to introduce his live mix show with various musicians and emcees from the soundtrack coupled with a live VJ kicking out visuals – this is going to be a sick show."
