Ah yes, 3D Dot Game Heroes. I remember playing that 8-bit goodness during my childho-

Wait, wrong game.

Anyway, 3D Dot Games Heroes, the fantastic RPG from Atlus that came to the States earlier this year is receiving an update. This will include fifty (yes, 50) fan and Atlus staff created heroes. These were selected from the “Hall of Heroes” character-sharing hub from the game’s website. There will be one extremely familiar face among the heroes, as well.

For those of you saddened about the LittleBigPlanet 2 news, take solace in the fact that you can play as your favorite lovable little dude in something new now. With this latest update Sackboy will be available for play in 3D Dot Game Heroes.

But that’s not all. This update will allow players to carry over certain swords into New Game+, adjustments to the Dash Circuit mini game, and fix a nasty little bug that prevented loading art images from appearing and being viewable in the Viewing Art Gallery.

"We can think of no more fitting a character to feature than one that has become synonymous with creativity and imagination in gaming: Sackboy," said Aram Jabbari, Manager of Public Relations and Sales at Atlus. "Now, people who start up their copy of 3D Dot Game Heroes can begin their adventures through the grand Kingdom of Dotnia with one of gaming's most recognizable icons!"
