Space lizards, ninjas and some old-school awesomeness await.

Welcome to Shipping Out, our weekly notice of all them thar games that ship from publishers to retailers in preparation for their street date a day later. In many cases, these games won't be on store shelves until tomorrow, but in the interest of getting the word out, letting the PR departments have their fancy quotes and saving us sanity as the weekly releases pile up, we're going to be consolidating everything down into one handy little news story at the end of the day, along with this description. Neat, eh? And lazy!

It's the TPS way.

[PlayStation 2]

Sorry, buddy, but we fear you're going to be a little lonely for a while. But you're not totally dead just yet... We hope.

[PlayStation Portable]

[Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3]
Speaking of not totally dead, our beloved PSP is actually getting a little injection of ninja combat this week courtesy of the kindly folks at Namco. Oho, but lest you think this just the last game with a new title slapped on the box... well, you're probably right. We kid, we kid; Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3 is arguably the biggest change to the series since it started, ditching that boring old 1-on-1 gameplay and letting up to four players beat the snot out of each other with the simple-yet-deep gameplay the fighting games have become known for. Sure, it's all done via Ad-Hoc, but perhaps the addition of three player co-op through the story will get you to call some friends over. Right? Yeaaaaah, we thought so.

[PlayStation 3]

[3D Dot Game Heroes]

Oh dear, sweet, adorable Baby Jesus, it's finally here. We'll never actually get to play a properly-endorsed Zelda game on our Big Black Brick(tm) but we can at least get something that's a loving homage. Because he's awesome (and not because he shares a name with the rather dapper PR chap over at Atlus who are publishing 3DDGH Stateside), our very own Aram decided he was going to do a proper, non-lazy story on the game's release. You should probably click that link and reward him instead of us with our lame space-filling blathering. Also, go buy the game.

[Lost Planet 2]

Capcom has been on a roll as of late, pumping out games that, while not exactly universal critical successes, are nonetheless pushing the Japanese dev/pub's propensity for delivering unique online complements to the action. With Lost Planet 2, though, the studio is making what may well be their most whole-hog venture into the space by creating a game that's one part mech- and tech-driven shooter set a decade after the original game and another something that more than passingly resembles Monster Hunter. But hey, it's their series (both of 'em, actually), and they can do whatev-it's Monster Hunter in HD with space pirates and girls wearing far too little in very harsh climates, go get it you boobs!

Or don't and wait for our reviews of this week's goodies very, very soon.
