Welcome to Shipping Out, our weekly notice of all them thar games that ship from publishers to retailers in preparation for their street date a day later. In many cases, these games won't be on store shelves until tomorrow, but in the interest of getting the word out, letting the PR departments have their fancy quotes and saving us sanity as the weekly releases pile up, we're going to be consolidating everything down into one handy little news story at the end of the day, along with this description. Neat, eh? And lazy!

It's the TPS way.

[PlayStation 2]

[Soul Nomad & The World Eaters]
NIS, the leader of all that is good and anime, are bringing another morsel of RPG goodness to you. Soul Nomad is a Strategy RPG akin to those of [Field Commander] on the PSP or the old Ogre Battle games from the retro consoles. Instead of cookie cutting those types of games they are adding their own twists. You can pillage and plunder shops and towns for items, combine armies together to reach LV. 1000 instantly, and create your own spin on what type of armies you want to use. NIS usually tries to force feed some of the titles (*cough* [Aedis Eclipse: Generations of Chaos] *cough*), but this one goes down smooth like ice cream on a hot day.

[World Series of Poker 2008: Battle for the Braclets]

"We are proud to deliver intense poker tournament action to gamers who want to experience the high-stakes competition of championship poker from the comfort of their homes." So if you want to get your poker on and don't have anyone to start up a home game, pick this up from stores now. Watch out for those card sharks though..
