Golden Gunner
Is it obvious that we're running out of ways to say a game has gone gold yet?

Ahh, the high seas, land of foul-mouthed sailors and tough-as-nails captains and giant laser cannons and fleet-destroying supercarriers... yep, it's just like the storybooks. Except not. Except cooler. See, this is the world that Warship Gunner 2 brings you. You'll get your salty sea dogs, sure, but play enough of the game and you'll be taking on flying saucers and mega-submarines.
"The latest addition to KOEI's line of naval-themed action simulation games, Warship Gunner 2 is part sci-fi technology, part manga story, and loaded with real-time shooting action. What's impressive is the game's depth," begins KOEI VP of Sales and Marketing Amos Ip. "Along with 100 missions and new submarine levels, Warship Gunner 2 lets players take advantage of a completely redesigned technology matrix to develop new weapons and ship parts."
Oh, yes, there is that. You can actually build said ships and weapons and mash the two together along with atomic engines, huge deck guns, entire squadrons of attack or recon planes, torpedoes... well, you get the idea. In effect, you're not just captaining a ship, you're building it from the ground up -- all with parts you research yourself and -- you know what? It's probably best that you just read our preview or, if you're feeling extra saucy, you can cut right to the review, since we're that on top of things. Nono, it's cool, we do it because we love you too.
