No, that's not a misspelled reference to everyone's favorite mermaid; Tribes is headed to online PS2s everywhere.

It's not often that an online PC game comes to the PS2. In fact, the last big high-profile titles that did that was Unreal Tournament, and we all know how that fared on the PS2.
Luckily, the PS2 version of Tribes has turned out far, far better. For one, it's already in step with it's eariler PC version and includes online play, as well as a fairly detailed (and utterly necessicary single-player mode that doubles as a very, very extensive training mode). Once you've got that under your belt, feel free to take on all that come at you in the online mode.
And you can, of course, do all of that now, now that Sierra has officially shipped the game to stores across the nation. Happy fragging.
