Activision has announced that over two million units of Spider-Man 2 have been shipped from its North American Publishing. The game, which hit shelves around the same time as its movie counterpart debuted on the silver screen, puts players in the tights of Spidey himself. Web sling around Manhattan, take down the most devious of villains, protect millions of innocent city-goers... all in a day's work for superhero.

Spider-Man 2 is on shelves now for all major platforms under the ESRB rating of "T" for "Teen" ("E" for PC and handheld). To celebrate the impressive achievement, we've provided a sweet new trailer below.
