Atlus has managed to build up quite a cult following for their, well, occult-infused Shin Megami Tensei series. Through well over a dozen games on multiple platforms stretching back almost 20 years, the series has slowly recruited more Japanese RPG fans through a handful of spin-offs and side stories that helped thicken up the universe. And Atlus, being the swell folks that they are, have decided to gift us with another spin-off in the form of Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner, which hits tomorrow.
To help welcome the game, Atlus has launched the official site, and populated it with the usual storyline details, character bios, screenshots (though of course you can always get them [ps2media=1030]here, too[/ps2media]), and information on the core gameplay and real-time battle system. While there, you can bone up on the whole devil capturing/summoning aspects of things, ooh and ahh over just how damned purdy it all is. If you're quick, you can also enter to win a limited edition framed lithograph signed by none other than series illustrator Kazuma Kaneko.
So, to recap, there's a signed, framed lithograph up for grabs, and a game that it's based on due out in just a few more hours. Make sure you head over to the site to check things out before then and look for our review this week!
