Ubisoft has announced The Prince of Persia 2 (working title), the sequel to the blockbuster action game from 2003. This time around, The Prince commences on a journey to defy his predestined death. Along the way, he finds himself on a cursed pirate home to some of man's greatest fears, and only by mastering new combat skills and exhibiting his bravery can the Prince evolve as a warrior and retain his life.



New to The Prince of Persia 2 is a free-form fighting system and an arsenal of weapons that can be combined to execute advanced arm attacks. Players will surely want to master the art of fighting in this game.



"Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time was the most critically acclaimed game of 2003," said Yves Guillemot, President and CEO of Ubisoft, "With Prince of Persia 2, we intend to build on that masterpiece that will take Prince of Persia one step further to take over the action-combat genre. We will offer you an even higher level of excellence that should once more convince the critics and the public."
