Onimusha is Unsheathed
Jean Reno and Takeshi Kaneshiro star in the final chapter in the Onimusha series on shelves now

What began as a groundbreaking leap in the survival-horror genre in the early days of the Playstation 2, now comes to a close with this, the third and final chapter to grace our beloved console. Onimusha 3: Demon Siege takes a throwback to the series first title in returning Samanosuke Akechi to the lead role in the continuing battle against the forces of the evil Oda Nobunaga. Armed with a variety of mystical swords and a gauntlet with the power to steal enemies' souls to add to his own power, Samanosuke dispatches the forces of the undead with new sidekick, Jacques Blanc. Using the motion captured, laser scanned and voiced over representation of International movie star Jean Reno (The Professional, 'Mission Impossible) Jacques Blanc lends tight gunplay to Samanosuke's expert swordplay.
Being made by the same team that made all of the previous Onimusha titles on the Playstation 2 (save for Blade Warriors) it's no surprise that Onimusha 3: Demon Siege is rated "M" by the ESRB, and oh yea, it's on shelves right now. If you've already invested the time with the first two titles and need closure to the story's conflict, pick up a copy at your local video game retailer. Keep it here.
