Pirate life isn't for the weak. Honestly, when they're not busy ravaging islands for treasure or plundering fellow ships, they're sending mutinous scum off into the deep end or squaking "Arr!" just for the fun of it.

What's that? You say you know of a sea-sailing gang that spends their days competing in pie-eating contests, getting their game on in pirate basketball and battling it out stilts? In that case, you must be referring Luffy and his One Piece crew, best known for their graphic novel and TV appearances, but who are more importantly bringing their shenanigans back to the PlayStation 2.

One Piece: Pirates' Carnival throws players back into the zany mix, offering over 30 mini-games (including the aforementioned pastimes) for up to four players. Whether it's evading bombs on a dodgeball field or locating the jokester Pandaman, it's all in a hard day's "work" to become King of the Pirates.

Pirates' Carnival sets sail in spring, and will arrive in retailers under the Namco Bandai publishing label. We'll return with booty full of details and media soon!
