Electronic Arts announced today its given the cover for the upcoming NFL Street 2 to New York Giant tight-end Jeremy Shockey and rapper and "Pimp My Ride" host Xzibit. In addition to sharing the cover, the two will serve as spokesmen for the game.
"If it wasn't for the kind of street football played in NFL Street 2, I would not be where I am today," admitted Shockey. "This is how most NFL players started their careers and now you can play at a new level, an-all new high flying football game with incredible wall moves and new modes like Crush the Carrier and Jump Ball Battle."
NFL Street 2 does indeed feature literal off-the-wall moves, where receivers can run off walls and run the quarterback up a building to change passing lanes. Ten new environments are playable in Bay City, each which can be yours if you've got the team strength and reputation to show for it.
Just missing the Christmas cutoff, NFL Street 2 charges into stores on December 26 sporting an "E" for "Everyone" ESRB rating.
