The Shin Megami Tensei series is one of the better J-RPG sagas out there, and fans in the US can finally look forward to playing the latest entry in all its localized glory in just a few short months. Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. Kind Abaddon - have mercy, that title is not our fault! - will hit retailers on May 12, 2009 with the full force of its name, and hopefully equally impressive gaming power.

Our favorite hardcore-gaming-fan-niche publisher Atlus promises to satisfy PlayStation 2 owners and RPG fans with an in every way over its predecessor improved sequel. "Devil Summoner 2 is an action RPG breath of fresh air, with a deep, easy-to-control combat system, nearly two hundred demons to negotiate with, collect, and fuse, and a variety of strategies to employ and master. Experience a 1920's Tokyo bustling with cases to solve, criminals to bring to justice, and the threat of the mysterious King Abaddon looming on the horizon." Sounds like the good old PlayStation 2 is in for a treat.

The most interesting thing about this title is however, that the game will be released in a limited quantity only. Selling at $39.99, each of the game's copies will ship with a Raiho collectible plushie. Furthermore each bundle will be numbered to ensure its rare collectible value. So, get yourself a bundle before they're sold out, and you might be able to make a fortune in a few years. It certainly is more reliable than investing into stocks these days.
