Welcome to Shipping Out, our weekly notice of all them thar games that ship from publishers to retailers in preparation for their street date a day later. In many cases, these games won't be on store shelves until tomorrow, but in the interest of getting the word out, letting the PR departments have their fancy quotes and saving us sanity as the weekly releases pile up, we're going to be consolidating everything down into one handy little news story at the end of the day, along with this description. Neat, eh? And lazy!

It's the TPS way.

[PlayStation 3]

[Rise of the Argonauts]

Apparently this is an epic action RPG published by Codemasters and developed by Liquid Entertainment. Rise of the Argonauts immerses players in a gladiatorial adventure set in a wondrously imagined vision of ancient Greece. Taking the role of Jason, a hero and expert warrior, players will battle alongside Hercules, Achilles, Atalanta and other Argonauts as they engage in brutal combat against formidable beasts and enemies, in a vast world alive with fickle gods, jaw-dropping panoramas, deep exploration and epic quests. The search for the Golden Fleece is not only one of exploration, but of transformation: from warrior king to exalted hero touched by the gods. The game is shipping out on December 16th 2008 and I'm sure you're all just as excited as I am to play it, but luckily it doesn't arrive in Europe until 6th February 2009.

[Persona 4]

You ever visit Metacritic? If so you're not doubt aware that thanks to some mind-bogglingly excellent reviews Persona 4 has now become the highest-rated PlayStation 2 game ever. That's not bad for a game released so late in the consoles life is it? Ok wait nevermind, it was the highest rated PlayStation 2 game for a while, but luckily Game Informer was there to crush Atlus' dreams. Is a publishing company not entitled to the sweat upon their anime brows? Nay say Game Informer, via a pitifully small 4 paragraph review. Eurgh. This is how you review a Persona game you turnips.

Publishers: want to make sure we've got your games in our weekly Shipping Out blurbs? Just kick over those shipping press releases to and we'll make sure they get tossed into the rotation.
