Electronic Arts has given word that Need for Speed Underground 2 has gone gold for all major platforms. Following up on the first NFSU (EA's best-selling console game of all time, believe it or not), the sequel turns players lose in a free-roaming city with five distinct but linked neighborhoods to live the life of underground street racing. Underground 2 has to its name dozens of tuner cars, thousands of aftermarket upgrades and more customization options than you can shake a stick at. Players with their network adaptors intact can also take their game online in 150+ different events. Oh, and Brooke Burke's in it too.

Need for Speed Underground 2 hits the streets in a week, on November 15.
