Most Wanted Tracks
Another assorted list of artists making up the soundtrack to an EA game? You know how it goes, and NFS: Most Wanted is no different.

We don't know about you guys, but when we're flying at a cool 120 mph on LA's Route 10 trying to shake off the ever tenacious fuzz, nothing fuses the exhilaration and keeps us on the brink of insanity more than a soundtrack of, oh, say 25 tracks from the best in modern rock, rap, hip-hop and then some. Actually, we've never tried to lose the police... nor have we ever driven at 120 mph... nor do we own a—you know what? Shut up, ok, because if we could, we totally would.
Sigh...
Well thank goodness for Need for Speed: Most Wanted! As announced by Electronic Arts today, the latest in the street racing series will come intact with an in-game soundtrack brimming with cross-genred goodness, with T.I. Presents The P$C, Jamiroquai, and Disturbed, just to name a few (is that The Roots and BT we see? ...It is!)
A full track listing? Yes, yes, we were getting to that:
Avenged Sevenfold - "Blinded In Chains"
Bullet For My Valentine - "Hand Of Blood"
Celldweller feat. Styles Of Beyond - "Shapeshifter"
Celldweller - "One Good Reason"
Dieselboy + Kaos - "Barrier Break"
Disturbed - "Decadence"
DJ Spooky And Dave Lombardo - "B-Side Wins Again feat. Chuck D"
Evol Intent, Mayhem & Thinktank - "Broken Sword"
Hush - "Fired Up"
Hyper - "We Control"
Ils - "Feed The Addiction"
Jamiroquai - "Feels Just Like It Should (Timo Maas Remix)"
Juvenile - "Sets Go Up"
Lupe Fiasco - "Tilted"
Mastodon - "Blood And Thunder"
Rock - "I Am Rock"
Static-X - "Skinnyman"
Stratus - "You Must Follow (Evol Intent VIP)"
Styles Of Beyond - "Nine Thou (Superstars Remix)"
Suni Clay - "In A Hood Near You"
T.I. Presents The P$C - "Do Ya Thang"
The Perceptionists - "Let's Move"
The Prodigy - "You'll Be Under My Wheels"
The Roots and BT - "Tao Of The Machine (Scott Humphrey's Remix)"
If licensed tracks aren't your bag, rest at ease, as EA's bringing in Paul Linford (Bad Boys II, Gone in Sixty Seconds, Coach Carter, Enemy of the State and Con Air fame) to give the game a Hollywood-caliber soundtrack treatment.
"Need for Speed Most Wanted blends an original score with licensed tracks to deliver a truly customized soundtrack that perfectly complements the in-game action at every turn," sums up Steve Schnur, Worldwide Executive of Music and Music Marketing at EA.
Ok, so the pedal on the right is acceleration, right? Good... we'll be gunning it November 15 once this one shelves. Just you wait.
Sigh...
