If hack, slash and repeat happens to be your prowess, boy, do we have a contest for you! Coinciding with the recent release of Nano Breaker, Konami has announced its plans to host an Internet ranking contest for the game with plenty o' prizes up for grabs.

So what's a guy gotta do to get his hands on some sizzling Konami prizes, you ask? Well, so long as you're over the age of seventeen (what minor would be playing an "M" rated game anyway in this day and age?), own a U.S. copy Nano Breaker and have beat the game to unlock its Splatter Mode, all it takes is a solid performance in one or more of the first eight stages of the mode. A password will then be generated, and players can from there enter them into the website and take part in the competition.

Snazzy prizes include a "plasma" television for the Grand Prize winner, and a copy of Nano Breaker signed by Koji Igarashi, Electronics Boutique gift cards and Nano Breaker T-shirts 'n' more for other winners.

The "oil"-spewing fun kicks off on March 1 and runs until the 15th, so get on over to the contest site and let the plasma wielding commence!
