Whelllp, MLB 2006 Totally Called It
You probably don't believe them, but Sony totally predicted the outcome of the World Series already.

Among some of the PlayStation 2 more powerful undocumented features is advanced fortune telling. No, seriously, the thing can predict the future, but only when used in conjunction with Sony's own sports titles. It's worked with the SuperBowl and now Sony is bidding the black brick and MLB 2006 peer into the endless mists of time to pull back the outcome of the World Series. Gentlemen, get your bookies on speed-dial:
Game 1 (Final: Houston 5 - Chicago 1) 9 Innings
* Astros - Berkman 3 for 4, 2 doubles, 1 HR
* White Sox - Everett 2 for 4, 2 doubles, 1 RBI
Game 2 (Final: Chicago 5 - Houston 2) 9 Innings
* Astros - Bagwell 2 for 4, 1 HR
* White Sox - Konerko 2 for 4, 1 double, 1 HR
Game 3 (Final: Chicago 3 - Houston 6) 9 Innings
* Astros - Burke 3 for 5, 1 RBI, 1 HR
* White Sox - Crede 4 for 5, 2 doubles, 1 RBI
Game 4 (Final: Houston 4 - Chicago 3) 10 Innings
* Astros - Biggio 3 for 5, 1 double, 1 HR
* White Sox - Pierzynki 3 for 5, 1 RBI, 1 HR
Game 5 (Final: Chicago 6 - Houston 3) 9 Innings
* Astros - Lamb 2 for 4, 2 doubles, 2 RBI
* White Sox - Konerko 3 for 5, 2 RBI
Game 6 (Final: Chicago 6 - Houston 2) 9 innings
* Astros - Berkman 3 for 5, 1 double, 1 HR
* White Sox - Konerko 3 for 4, 1 RBI, 1 HR
That's not all, it's pegged Paul Konerko as the World Series' MVP by going 13 for 26 with 2 homeruns and 6 RBIs. It doesn't matter if you don't believe it, the PS2 sees all, and its eternal gaze has been turned all the way to 10 days into the future. Whether you make millions off the pre-cognitive powers of Sony's uberconsole is up to you, but don't blame us when it all comes to pass as was written here and you just sat back and laughed.
Or, uh, you can sit back and laugh, we really don't know if it's going to happen. Or do we?
