Hey, let's try something. We'll call it a test of your manhood. Midway and MTV, as part of their ongoing partnership are giving away two pimped out 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX STIs. Yeah, we know, we already said that in the headline, but some of you don't read those. Now, are you drooling yet? No? You're not a man, then, off with yo—oh, you're a woman. Well then!


Few people into the tuner scene would pass up the opportunity to win a free car, much less one that comes stock with over 300 horsepower (though we'll admit the redesign this year is poopy). Hell, even if you aren't some kind of insane gearhead, you're probably salivating at least a little.

See, the whole two car giveaway is part of the marketing machine fired up to help move copies of L.A. RUSH, which we've been talking about quite a bit as of late. Specifically, it's part of the "Watch 'n' Win" sweepstakes with MTV.

As part of the giveaway, entrants that hit the official contest web site starting October 10th will have to fill out the usual opt-in form info, plus answer a few trivia questions about the game. The winners will be announced "at a later date," which means of course a whole lot of nothing to those craving a new car.

The RUSH marketing blitz spans MTV, MTV2, mtv.com and mtv2.com, and includes a "Sneak Peek" special on October 16th on the Sunday Stew, a Video Mod featuring RUSH soundtrack artist Twista's "Hit The Floor" (which appears in the game). Twista (that name's going to break our spell checker) will also host MTV2's T-Minus Hip Hop countdown and hawk the game during the broadcast.
