Sony Builds Another Factory in Japan
To keep up with the growing demands of the Playstation2, Sony has expanded its production capabilities

Sony Computer Entertainment, Inc. is opening up yet another semiconductor factory in Japan. A press release has stated that it can
produce up to 6,000 chip wafers a month. The factory only produces the Graphics Synthesizer for the PS2, not the Emotion Engine.
