Semiconductor Insights announced that Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. is the winner of it's Most Innovative Computing Semiconductor
Product of the Year. They were awarded for it's Sony Graphics Synthesizer chip. (The chip is the heart of the visuals in the PlayStation 2 system.)
Sony beat out some of the top dog processor companies including AMD, Intel, and nVidia.
