Sam: Personally, I think it's a fantastic game, and is just another in a long string of must-haves for the system. This is probably the game that will sell the most PS2s, but I can only see that as a good thing; everyone who's old enough to go see a rated R movie should own this game. Period.

Kyle: No doubt. And the beautiful thing is, it truly doesn't matter what genre you are into! GTA: VC does a spectacular job of blending what may seem very different genres into one hell of a game. The replay value is off the charts. Days and days, weeks and weeks, months and months you will be playing this game. Working for crime bosses, hitting all the Unique Jumps with a motorcycle, or just reeking havoc on the streets, you can play any way you please. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City belongs in every PS2 gamer's collection (surely those who can accept that this IS a game, not reality) and is right along side GTA3 as the most enormous and realistic game to hit the gaming industry.

Sam: The only major problem I have with it is the fact that there's a pervasive sense of the game being slightly rushed, and I can't help but think that a couple more months would have helped it become a much more polished product. What I got was plenty great, but I know deep down that a little more time would have made it one of the best games ever made. I think it misses the mark by a couple hairs, but hey, that's what GTA4 is for, I suppose. I'm gonna go with a 9.7 overall, the same score I gave GTA3.

Kyle: Vice City expands on what GTA3 had started, and capitalizes in almost every way. This game gets a 9.7.
