Bandai has announced that Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, a futuristic third-person action game, has been released into retailers nationwide. In the Tohoku Autonomous Region, where cyber-crime runs rapid and the ongoing struggle persists between humanity and technology, players take the roles of 'Major' Motoko Kusanagi, Section 9 officer Batou or Think Tank Tachikoma, using advanced weaponry and martial arts to their advantage in the fight to restore peace to the area.
