Midway's Spy Hunter series has had a bumpy couple of years. The first game was an honest-to-goodness update to a classic game that married a sense of speed with solid graphics, some great weapons, and enough new stuff to make it the first game that marked the turn-around of Midway into a company known for more than just Acclaim-level rehashes and rushed releases.

The sequel, however, was much more of a bust. Developed by the usually reliable Angel Studios (right before they were snapped up by Rockstar and became Rockstar San Diego), the game was a complete mess. Bad graphics, bad control, and horrid level designs made it feel more like Angel was just trying to finish their contractual obligation than making a real game.

But things are (hopefully) back on track. Developed by Terminal Reality, (the third developer in as many games) Spy Hunter: Nowhere to Run is focusing not just on the car, but the driver behind it, specifically one Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, who will also be helming the wheel in the upcoming movie that mirrors the game.

In these bite-sized interview bits, we'll take a few prods into the mind of the man that will breath life into both the big screen and digital versions of Alex Decker, the driver of the famous Interceptor. Up first: DJ's thoughts on the original classic, Japanese wrestling moves and... Knight Rider?
