TotalPlayStation Holiday Buyer's Guide 2005
We spent all year cutting through the poo to get to the good stuff, and now we're passing along our knowledge to make sure you make someone's nice list this year.

The Adrenaline Junky feels the need... the need for expeditious velocity! It doesn't matter if it's got two wheels, four wheels, a plank of reinforced fiberglass, jet engines or just two big ass beefy mitts, the idea is that flash and endless tweaking can extend the life of a game out into infinity.
As such, getting the proper game for The Adrenaline Junky can mean they have something to tinker with until about this time next year, and with some of the offerings this year, you may actually get even more mileage than that. Our pick is so infectiously destructive and yet polished until it almost seems to break the PlayStation 2 that anyone -- Adrenaline Junky or no -- can get into it.

[ Racing | Flight | Wrestling | Extreme Sports ]
Burnout Revenge
With each new iteration, Criterion’s showcase for their RenderWare technology gets more and more slick, pushing the limits of what was thought possible on the aging PlayStation 2 hardware. Their fourth entry is easily the best, refining the already addictive gameplay to near-perfection. A deeper crash mode, more variety in the races and the ability to absolutely destroy traffic on your side of the road while still narrowly averting crashes on the other.

“Simply put, it's the best Burnout yet, and after four games, it's amazing that each one can consistently blow the previous entries away. Revenge does, and it is indeed sweet.”
Also Try:
[Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland | Gran Turismo 4 | Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War | WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2006]
