Incompatibility Problems Solved!
Three companies have come up a way of quickly solving the incompatibility problems between the two PlayStation2 models in Japan.

When Sony released their new SCPH-18000 model of the PlayStation earlier this month, Japanese gamers took note of possible incompatibility problems that could arise.
Incompatibility problems are nothing new, and in fact have grown to become the 'staple problem' when a new model of an existing console is released.
In this case, Konami, Idea Factory and T&E Soft decided to take action when informed that their PlayStation2 based software; Reiselied: Ephemeral Fantasia, Sky Surfer and Golf Paradise respectively, are not compatible with the new SCPH-18000 model unit.
The three companies are now allowing consumers in Japan to return their games directly to the company in exchange for an updated version of the specific game in question that is compatible with the new model for no charge.
