The TotalPlayStation We Don't Give A Crap Welcome to the Two Paragraph No-Effort This Game Is Out Showcase rolls on, this time with the announcement of the release of the PS2 version of Call of Duty 3 (sorry, PS3 folks, you'll have to wait until next week for your super awesome half-assed news story). You'll notice that we haven't really talked about the PS2 version, and that's because Activision hasn't shown anything of it. No screens, no preview copy, nuthin'.

"Call of Duty 3 brings players closer than ever to the intensity of combat," said Will Kassoy, SVP of GBM, ATVI. "Gamers will be instantly transported into a seamless narrative, set on a gritty battlefield that features the most highly detailed environments, amazing effects, realistic weapons and soldiers and more for an epic experience."

The game is available now, but our guess is as good as yours as to what it'll look like. Given that the Wii version isn't half bad, and the game still lets you play as Yank, Brit, Canuck and Pole forces through the Normandy Breakout... well, we still don't know how it'll end up. Still, you can check it out now and we'll have a review in a few days.
