A PlayStation memory card can prove a useful too. In addition to being 8MB worth portable of game data, it often times makes for some welcome bonus content, assuming developers are clever enough to implement such a feature (remember how a Ratchet & Clank save would entitle you to free weapons in Going Commando?) . THQ has gone a step further, as gamers who own more than one of their Nickelodeon titles will have the pleasure of accessing expanded gameplay and special features.

"THQ is thrilled to provide such a unique opportunity to reward fan loyalty," beamed John Ardell, director, global brand management, THQ. "The Cross Save feature offers consumers an opportunity to experience added playability in THQ's Nickelodeon titles on PlayStation 2."

The Cross Save feature, applicable with Tak: The Great Juju Challenge, SpongeBob SquarePants: Lights, Camera, PANTS!, Nicktoons Unite! and upcoming movie-based Barnyard, make for loads of bonuses, from alternate costumes and vehicles to different magic abilities and even additional health, just as soon as your memory card picks up one of the other three game saves.

Just a little something for you loyal THQ consumers out there.
