Ar Tonelico 2 Announced by NIS
Because the PS2 doesn't have enough JRPGs.

NIS recently announced a sequel to Ar Tonelico: Melody of Eternia, coming to your PS2 which is already crammed to the gills with pretty Japanese anime characters eager for friends. The original Ar Tonelico went over well with RPG fans (with an 8.5 on Metacritic), so a sequel was inevitable.
I'll bet money that it's about a spunky, spiky-haired orphan with a large sword and a fair amount of sexual tension with a seemingly platonic childhood friend as they fight monsters to defeat an evil authority figure, but that's just the cynic in me hating the fact that the most we end up with is usually a space marine exploring the World of Brown. Oh well, back to Disgaea!
