The 2003 Spring Game Life Tour is, at this very moment, primed to rock its way across this country in an effort to bring a slew of PS2, Xbox, GameCube and PC games to the masses. Decked out with what they call their "Game Port," a gargantuan 50-screen smorgasbord of gaming deliciousness just screaming "play me!"

What's more, the Tour is a veritable cornucopia of sponsors and tie-ins. PC's are sponsored by Alienware and boast the fastest 3D card on the market right now, the ATI RADEON 9700 Pro. NYKO is supplying Air Flo controllers, G4 TV will be covering the event for cable, and Game Informer will be dishing out mags left and right as the official magazine partner for the Tour. Rio MP3 players are being delivered courtesy of the SONICblue guys (yup, the same SONICblue that makes ReplayTV), and the kicker is that entry into the GLT is free and you can play games there until the Tour rolls out to another city.

"SONICblue is proud to bring Rio into the mix during the Game Live Events' Spring Tour... it is a natural fit for gaming enthusiasts," beamed Ed Brachocki, SONICblue's VP of Product Marketing for Video And Audio Products.

The best part, however, is simply what's on hand to play. As if hearing the cries of "awwww, no fair!" from gamers that have read about game editors getting to play games long before they're out, the Game Life Tour is decked out with literally dozens of games, most of them brand new or not even released yet, and a choice few are still very much in the beta stage, giving those lucky enough to be in one of the major cities the tour hits the chance to see a games long before the general public will get a chance.

"We have many diverse games titles, many of which are in 'first look' beta stages. Event attendees will be able to play final build versions before these games are shipped to retailers nationally. This is a dynamic tour presentation for kids, teens, gamers and families across the country," gushed Game Live Events CEO Antonio Capretta.

For those that just can't wait any longer, here's the scoop on the games list and tour dates. It should be noted as well that the tour will be hitting party central for both Mardi Gras and Spring Break, stopping at both New Orleans and Panama City, FL. Behold the full list:
