HSX Goes Online
hypersonic.xtreme web surfing?

The PS2 has been oddly lacking for futuristic racing games by comparison to it's younger grey brother. Sure, you've got your WipEout Fusion, your Extreme-G III, even your piss-poor stinkers like Fusion GT, but otherwise the genre has been largely rather barren.
It seems the guys and gals over at Majesco and developers Blade Interactive (the same developers behind the console version of PC god game Black & White) feel things aren't too crowded to inject a little something different into the mix, which they'll try to do with HSX (or hypersonic.xtreme racing if you're one of those long-winded hip kids).
It seems the best way these days to get the word out (check out yesterday's news to see what we mean) is to just slap up a web site with all the assets most of us online press schmoes have here, toss in a couple videos, and if you're lucky a little info on the game and the players. The aptly titled HSX web site delivers all this, and Majesco promises will have plenty more for those that check back.
As it stands, there's a decent amount of info on the game, and the included track editor which seems to have a ridiculous amount of flexibility. We'll have full impressions of HSX in a bit, but head on over to the site and give it a looksee in the mean time.
