A few months back, a new publisher by the name of XSEED Games got its bearings with the help of the former head honcho at of Squenix’s North American division, Jun Iwasaki, as well as a few good RPGs under its wing: Wild ARMs 4 and Shadow Hearts: From The New World, to be exact. Today, XSEED gets its awaited debut to the market, as the newest chapter in the Wild ARMs series (currently topping 2.5 million in copies shipped worldwide) has hit gone to retail.
As unsuspecting armies of airships attack the town of Ciel, putting Filgaia’s future in danger, four teenagers embark on a quest in search of the truth behind the conflict, and even themselves. The inspiring storyline is met with equally advanced gameplay, as the HEX battle system looks to do what no turn-based RPG has before it.
Wild ARMs 4 shelves with a $39.99 price point and “T” rating. We’ve been pumped over this one for months--why, just read our hands-on impressions—-so expect our verdict in the near future!
