Already considered to be one of the biggest battles in fighting game history: Virtua Fighter 4 and Tekken 4 are both scheduled to face off against one another on the PlayStation 2 platform later next year.
While Virtua Fighter 4 will be arriving before Tekken 4 on the console, it seems that Namco will ultimately get the head start on their competition when their prized fighter reaches the arcades.
Tekken 4 has been officially scheduled to arrive ahead of Virtua Fighter 4 in Japanese arcades later this year. The arcade machine will be released in the last week of July, for a price of $2,959 in U.S. dollars.
And so, the fighting battle to end all battles.. goes on. Who will be the victor? We will find out, later this year.
