So you knew a new True Crime was in the works, but in attempt to stir some anticipatory interest in the sequel, publisher Activision decided to turn revealing where the game would take place into a contest. As our media section would confirm, we've passed along movie clips of where the game could take place, and it was up to you insightful fans to submit your guesses into the Guess the City & Win Marcus' (he's our new protagonist) Ride contest for a shot at a gussied up Chrysler 300. So odds are... you didn't win, but no worries, brave souls, as we do indeed have the word on where True Crime 2 is to take place!

Screw it! It's... New York City! Overhyped? Perhaps, especially with intriguing cities like Paris and Mexico City in the running as possible locals. Nonetheless, it's set in stone, and as of now, True Crime: New York City is the official title of Luxoflux's free-roaming follow-up.
And that's all, folks! We'll keep those details a-comin' as they leak.
