Throw Down in THUG2 for a Thou
$1000 is up for grabs, and a couple of pretty decent prizes too.

We're all for helping out a fellow online fan site, and in the spirit of brotherly love, we're giving the guys at (by way of Neversoft's handy little e-mail notice) a plug to draw a little more attention to their "Tourney for the Homeys 3" contest.
The competition consists of six prelims, a semi-final and a final round where the grand prize winner will nab themselves a $1000 gift certificate, a Tony Hawk deck and THUG2 PS2 cover sheet both signed by the Birdman himself, a 18"x24" print signed by Space Monkey creator Dalek, a copy of SWINDLE magazine, t-shirts from DENIED Clothing and three Activision PS2 games. Not a bad take home for the winner.
Runners up won't be left empty handed, though, nor will those that managed to win each of the prelims. Speaking of, we've already missed the first registration date (it was on the 16th, but hey, it's not like we knew), but the rest (taking place on 5/30, 6/13, 6/27, 7/11 and 7/25) still be entered by hitting up thugXonline.com. The competitions will take place online in a 144-participant bracket playing Trick Attack, Goal Attack and Graffiti modes.
