Slick back the hair and stock up on the mints, Romeo – Ms. Tomb Raider herself will be arriving in April.

Lara Croft has been raiding consoles and many a gamer’s wet dream for the past ten years, and come April 11, she’ll be doing it all over again, with Eidos Interactive today confirming the North American release date of Tomb Raider: Legend, with the UK version hitting retail four days earlier. Expectedly, the “next-gen” (PSP, Xbox 360) versions of the game won’t be ready until “shortly after” the console release.
“Everyone working on Legend is buzzing right now, we are all so excited that this totally new incarnation of Lara will capture gamers’ hearts, just as her original game did, and challenge their minds like no Tomb Raider they’ve ever seen,” poured Larry Sparks, Head of Brands Management.
Uh oh… do we sense another celebratory jamboree at the Eidos offices? With a handful of new screens sent our way today, it may not be too far-fetched to assume the festivities to be in full swing.
