EA to Publish Next TimeSplitters Game
Free Radical Design says "adiós" to Eidos and instead looks to Electronic Arts to publish the next title in the TimeSplitters franchise.

UK-based Free Radical Design has decided to make a change in publisher for the next installment in its acclaimed TimeSplitters franchise, as it has today announced a distribution and publishing agreement with Electronic Arts for the upcoming TimeSplitters title. TimeSplitters 3 (an unofficial title, mind you) will be published by EA Partners when it makes its worldwide release in 2005.
"Free Radical has proven itself as a world-class studio by delivering consistently beautiful, exciting and incredibly fun games," said Tom Frisina, Vice-president Electronic Arts Partners. "We are thrilled to be working with Free Radical and to be adding a new title to our growing catalogue of externally developed games."
"Choosing EA Partners as our publishing partner represents a big breakthrough for Free Radical," said Steve Ellis, Chairman of Free Radical Design. "We're already working hard on the next game, and hope that, with the help of Electronic Arts, we can reach many new players all over the world."
We can only cross our fingers that the next TimeSplitters game will make an appearance at E3 2004, but in any case, we'll be sure to bring you more details on the title as they arise.
